Teaching

Teaching Philosophy

I approach teaching as both a scholarly practice and a way to connect theory to real-world complexity. My goal is to create inclusive classrooms where students engage critically with organizational life—drawing on research, data, and their own experiences.

I will be the sole instructor for Introduction to Organizational Behavior at McGill University in Summer 2026, overseeing all aspects of course delivery and TA supervision. I bring to this role both formal pedagogical training and real-world experience managing global teams.

As part of McGill’s Graduate Teaching Preparation, I completed the Teaching and Learning in Higher Education program, which covered:

  • Backward course design
  • Performance-based assessment
  • Instructional strategy development
  • Inclusive teaching and active learning principles

During this training, I developed a full course portfolio, aligning learning outcomes with diverse instructional strategies. My microteaching evaluations praised my use of “real-life examples effectively”, “well-organized outlines”, and “very good knowledge on the topic which provided confidence to the audience.” Feedback also highlighted my ability to “handle unexpected questions” and engage students through “blended learning with theoretical parts and reflection activities.”

Before academia, I worked at FORREC Ltd., managing international projects for clients like Universal Studios, Lego Land, and Six Flags. These experiences inform my teaching by grounding abstract theories in real organizational challenges—from stakeholder dynamics to cross-cultural collaboration.

Courses I Can Teach

I am prepared to teach the following courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels:

  • Strategic Management
  • Organizational Behavior
  • Social Network Analysis
  • International Management & Cross-Cultural Teams
  • Research Methods in Management

I also envision developing elective or advanced courses such as:

  • Strategic Design in Global Project Teams
  • Organizational Behavior in Professional Services

I see teaching as a continuous, reflective process. Just as I iterated design solutions in my professional practice based on stakeholder feedback, I approach teaching with a mindset of experimentation and responsiveness. My goal is to help students build confidence in their analytical skills, connect theory to action, and navigate complexity with curiosity and purpose.
